A Look Back

Castle Celebrates Landmark Anniversary

On Oct. 11, 2015, the University celebrated the 30th anniversary of Grey Towers Castle being named a National Historic Landmark. A plaque was unveiled in a ceremony featuring members of the Castle Restoration Society, a group of four dozen students who help maintain and restore the glory of the Castle and also the other buildings that are original to the Harrison Estate.

“These buildings make our university unique from others,” said 兰德尔·斯梅德利的16协会主席. “With the work Arcadia has done with these buildings over the years, it shows that the University is up for the challenge of maintaining and restoring these beautiful buildings to their original glory.”
